Weatherization Technician
Career Opportunity: We are looking for our next Weatherization Technician for our Weatherization Program! This person serves on our team working to provide health, safety, and energy efficiency measures to homes. Duties include installing insulation, air sealing, and venting; perform advanced diagnostic testing including structure evaluation, blower door, zonal testing, safety testing, and job planning. Will perform a variety of repairs, carpentry, and glazing tasks as needed. Some knowledge of building construction, insulation and/or weatherization retrofit. Must participate in agency paid technical training.
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position working Monday to Thursday. Pay range is $21.89 to $35.87/hour based on qualifications, plus applicable prevailing wage rate for classifications worked.

Required Qualifications: High school graduate or GED equivalent, knowledge of building construction, insulation and/or weatherization retrofit, ability to climb and descend stairs/ladders, work in confined spaces, bend, crawl, push and drag materials and tools, laying on 2×4 trusses while balancing and/or sitting for long periods of time. Valid Washington State driver license and insurance. Due to agency insurance requirements, applicant must be 21 years or older (or turning 21 years old within six months of hire date) and have no major violations within the last three years.
